Transeuntis Mundi Derive 01 VR Work (application) (2019)
A VR piece of contemporary art, contemplating 56 min of 360 image and ambisonic sound about transculturalism, migration, and stories.
This piece is currently nominated for the Lumen Prize (UK) and has been selected by festivals in over 12 countries.
This work was also created as an WebVR piece and a HUBS piece, presented here bellow.

An online installation of “Derive 01”, created during the pandemic as a commission of the Culture Department of the City of Rio de Janeiro.
Transeuntis Mundi HUBS Derive 01 (2021)
An online installation for mobile devices of “Derive 01”, created during the pandemic as a commission of the Culture Department of the City of Rio de Janeiro.
Transeuntis Mundi Vibrational Walkscapes (2020)
Comissioned by the company “Music Not Impossible”, the installation “Vibrational Walkscapes” presented the Derive 01 VR work along with haptic devices in the Museum of Moving Image, for an event /concert for an audience of 135 people with hearing disabilities.
Transeuntes Medellín (2022)
A historical, archival, and storytelling project presented as an online gallery and as a VR art piece. Included the design of a campaign on social media, which resulted in the content for an exhibition and VR piece.
Comissioned by the City of Medellin and the Antioquia Universidad.

Past Exhibitions and Installations
13th Book and Cultural Festival in Medellin (CO/2019)
The Transeuntis Mundi Installation was launched at the 13th Book and Culture Festival in Medellin (CO) on September 6-15th, 2019. The event, which received over 2,500 visitors in 9 days, presented the exhibition “Pasaje: los pies en la tierra”. The installation included the presentation of the virtual reality work, projections, sound sculptures and a closing concert.
DRHA Conference in London (UK/2019)
The TM project was also presence in the Digital Research in the Humanities and Arts (DRHA) conference, presenting poster and panel presentation. The event occurred in London, from Sept 8 to 10th 2019.
Frameless Labs Symposium in New York (US/2019)
The virtual reality work developed by the Transeuntis Mundi project was also selected to be presented in the 4th Annual Frameless Symposium at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The event occurred in Rochester, NY/ US, on Nov 21-22nd 2019.
Context Art Miami (US/2019)
The project was also presented in the Context Art Miami in December 3-8th, 2019. The event is one of the greatest international art events that includes gallery programs, solo exhibitions and curated programs.
Columbia University (US/2020)
The Transeuntis Mundi was presented at the international conference “Music and Migration” at the Center for Ethnomusicology, at Columbia University. The event took place on March 6th, 2020 in New York.
Museum of the Moving Image (US/2020)
The Museum of the Moving Image in New York (USA) presented the Transeuntis Mundi project on March 7th, 2020. The event was the debut of the commissioned work by the “Music: Not impossible” project. Using their vibrotactile devices, the work presented a haptic experience with virtual reality.
Artsy 2021 (London/UK)
Invited by The Light Gallery (UK), the project presented TM collection at Artsy website curated by Luz María Osorio in April/May, 2021.
NIME 2021 (Shanghai/China)
The Transeuntis Mundi project participated in the New Interfaces for Musical Expression (NIME) Festival 2021, in Shanghai (China). The event took place from June 15 – 18th 2021 and it was presented the online exhibition Web Derive 01 and an article.
Music
NYCEMF 2021 (US/2021)
The Transeuntis Mundi project was also part of the NYCEMF 2021 (NY/US). From June 21 to 27th, the project presented a paper and the online exhibition “Web Derive 01” at the Electroacoustic Music Festival in New York.
World Listening Day (Internacional, 2021)
The concert Mutation – one of the Transeuntis Mundi compositions – participated in the World Listening Day (Internacional). The event occurred on July 18th (2021) and was transmitted during 24h selected songs about the ecologic acoustic theme.

Cultura Presente nas Redes Award (RJ/2020)
On September 20th, 2020, the project launched its WebVR online exhibition entitled “Web Derive 01”. This artwork was commissioned by the Secretary of Culture and Creative Economy of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
RealMix Festival 2020
The online exhibition “Web Derive 01” was selected for the RealMix Festival 2020 promoted by the District Institute of Arts (Idartes) and the Bogotá Planetarium (Colombia).
Contemporary Art Museum (Rio de Janeiro/BR, 2021)
From September 07 to 12th, the Transeuntis Mundi project presented a remote and online exhibition at the Contemporary Art Museum in Niterói (Rio de Janeiro/Brazil). The project was awarded by the Art Department of Niterói (RJ).

The project was invited to present an article, talk and the online exhibition “Web Derive 01” at the Frameless Symposium 2020 (NY/US).
StoryBits Conference 2021 (Covilhã/Portugal)
From April 21 to 23th, the Transeuntis Mundi project joined the StoryBits Conference 2021 in Covilhã, Portugal. At the conference, the project presented an article and the online exhibition “Web Derive 01”.
International Image Festival (Manizales/2021)
From May 24-28th, the online exhibition “Web Derive 01” was part of the program of the International Image Festival in Manizales (Colombia). It was also presented an article and talk about the work.
Doctoral Conference at Plymouth University (UK/2021)
From June 3-4th 2021, the project presented the TM work and the online exhibition at the Doctoral Conference at Plymouth University (UK).
Walk as a Question Conference 2021 (Greece/2021)
Following the 2021 tour, it was time for the project to present the TM work at the Walk as a Question Confere at the Prespa area (Greece). On July 9th, the project presented the online exhibition (Web Derive 01) and participated in the debate about virtual walks.
