The TM work offers a participative and immersive artistic experience for a trans-disciplinary approach to culture, migration and legacy in Arts, Technology, Science, History, Geography, Languages and more.
Especially for the elementary school, the opportunity to bring Arts to the curriculum in a transdisciplinary way is a rich experience for both students and instructors!
The exhibition opens space for discussions and classes in these disciplines, and instructors can explore its content in multiple ways in their classrooms. Besides the exhibition, we also offer the 2h workshop “Transeuntis Mundi in the classroom” to support instructors designing content for their classes based on our exhibition. And there is also a “talk with the artists”, in which the kids can interact with the creators of the work. It’s a fantastic integration of Arts and Education.
This initiative is very inspired in the work “Biophilia” from the singer Bjork, which was adopted in all elementary schools in Iceland, did you know it?
